I have a 42 inch phillips plasma tv and it shuts off 5 seconds after turning it on....?
i have a 42 inch phillips plasma tv that recently started having problems. whenever i turn it on it turns itself off in 5 seconds, no buttons are pressed down so i think it might have someting to do with the power. does anybody have any idea what it could be and how much it would cost to fix it?
Why is there a black block in the center of my phillips plasma tv?
I have a phillips 50 inch plasma tv that recently started having a black block about 10 in x 10 in in the center of the screen. It shows up when the screen is turned on and gradually fades over about 30 minutes until it disappears completely. Is there a quick fix for this or do I need to take it in for repair?
I bought a faulty phillips plasma tv and now it's broken. What should i do?
It costed 2000 something at the time that we bought it. When we first turned it on we realized it was making weird noises but we ignored it, now it doesn't even turn on. It's already out of warranty. We researched it online and bunches of people who bought the same model have this problem too. It costs 700 dollars to repair and we would just throw it away and buy a new one but my dad doesn't want it to end right there. He wants to take some action against this company because we called and complained and wrote letters but they won't respond. It's not fair for all those hundreds of people who bought this company's plasmas. Now...it only costs just over 1000 dollars. What should we do?? and im not giving it to pbcurtis....sorry. wait...why do you want it? didn't i mention that it doesn't work???thanks for all of your advice...I really appreciate it.
52 Inch phillips plasma tv?
I turned the tv on from the actual on off switch on the tv and as I was walking away I heard a pop that sounded like a gun going off. When I turned around the blue light came on saying the tv was on but there was no picture. Has anyone had this problem with a phillips 52 inch plasma? I was told one of the bulbs blew, if anyone has had the same problem could you please tell me if this is fixable? I have the repair person coming tomorrow but I would like to know what to expect. And if you have had this problem is it something that I should expect often? I have had the tv nearly 3 years now.
I have a 42 inch phillips plasma TV and the problem is why my tv wont come on.It just clicks like a clock.?
The model is 42PFP5332D 37. When I hit the power button the blue light stays solid with a little bit of blinking and when I look at the back of it I see 2 sets of green lights blinking and making the click click noise just like a clock...What causes this..Can I fix it on my own..My research says it may be the capacitor needs to be replace or the power supply..plz help...video if possible
Phillips plasma tv not getting power..?
the green light wont even come on and it doesnt making the " clicking " sound it makes when you turn power on. i already called tech support and tried unplugging it, holding down the power button. It did not work so they referred me to a phillips certified repair man m not under warranty anhow i dont have the $500 they want to charge me for diagnosis , labor and parts. that was an estimate . any ideas about this? what should i do?
