Sony KLV-32EX300 is a good model for less than 35,000. It has USB playback for Photos, Music and Video. Also has 4 HDMI ports if you need to connect Gaming or other devices. Take videocon just for Rs 10 to 15,000/ - cheap and best for India capable to bear voltage flactuations and good colour combinations.

I too would suggest Sony KLV-32EX300. The website states the price as 35,900 You might get is for a lower price at leading brands like e-zone, Vijay Sales, Croma, etc. if they are running any discounts. However, as Sumit mentioned above that an LG model is available at some what similar price and that too with 1080 Full HD then I recommend you go with it. Try to buy and LCD which is 1080 Full HD - 1920 x 1080 resolution which makes the picture truly clear. Other things to watch out for while buying an LCD are - contrast ratio - the more the better. And connectivity features like - PC Input, HDMI, USB, etc.

It will be best to buy Philips because they are the oldest in the market have good products have reasonable price and the best thing is that u get a good service and they have there service Center in every City and if your TV is out of Guaranty the will do it again for for years with just rs 1000 not a bad scheme

I have a 32 Sony here that has a problem that costs more that the TV to repair...I repair TV's. I wouldn't buy another Sony.
