Question: I want to see videos from youtube on my lcd tv?

I want to see youtube on my sony bravia 40 "lcd do i need a cable to connect it from the laptop to the tv? if so what is the name and type of cable. thanks

Sony bravia's are great TV's. You can just use the cable you always use with your computer (instead of using a converter plug or anything). You should use a VGA cable, more specific: VGA male to VGA male:mtsystems.ca/ products_pictures/ 168/ 2.jpg For the sound you can plug a mini-jack to rca jack from your computer to your tv: joday.free.fr/ images/ hw/ mini-jack_rca.jpg (the small pin, mini jack, into your headphone output of your computer, the other side in your tv.

Theres lots of different ways to do it. A cable would work, im unsure of what its called but you can ask a guy at radioshack or wherever you go. You can also google a software and download something that will record youtube videos for you, then you can burn them or move them to a flash drive.

Yeah you do and the cable name is a VGA Cable you can get them almost at every electronics store. if i were you i would go with Belkin it is the cheap $ but good quality cable brand. hope a i helped
