Yeah, some sony's give you all three options, video photos and music (w/ z/ xbr), some only do music and photos (v and below). samsung led lcd tvs all offer the three options, as does all their standard lcd's 6 series and above..maybe their 5, but i think thats just photo and music. the downfall, the tv's will only recognize a handful, talking one or two, video formats. i know mp4 video files work, most will not recognise wmv or avi. check the specs on the tv. i recommend getting the wd tvhd thing simply because it supports tons of more file formats for your video, audio and photos. hooks up via hdmi, the pricier one supports 1080p video too (130 bucks i think it is). nice thing is that if you change your tv you just plug it right in, or any tv in the house for that matter, so it gives you more flexibility on where you watch your contnent, on the road in a hotel, friends house, etc etc. |
