HelloI need to wipe the dust of my lcd tv screen and i got 2 microfiber cloths...one is thicker fluffier if that makes sense, kind of soft...the other is more flat and smooth and the cloth appears to be less porous...so which one is best to use for LCD screen...also in what way do i wipe? From up to down, left to right, in one direction?Thank you

I used a blanket to cover up my tv for the kids and I think I burned the screen. It has normal color on the top 1 4 of the screen then the rest is darker. When the screen goes black the patch that is darker is yellowish orangish and looks like stripes going down. My husband wants to just trash it but I'm hoping it can be fixed.

Hi i was wondering if anybody had any tips on cleaning my lcd tv screen,ive tried just a damp cloth using only water this doesnt get rid of much really and i read about using a bit of glass cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth but this just leaves the screen streaky even though the glass cleaner says streak free the main problem is finger prints off my 2yr old i would put the tv on the wall but not enough space at the mo so please any tips would be gratefully appreciated thanks.

Hi I need to clean my lcd screen and frame and was wondering how...i have this cleaning kit i use for my laptop...it comes with a dust brush, cleaning solution spray and a microfibre cloth...when using the cloth do i do circular, vertical, or horizontal motions?...and is the dust brush safe and wont scratch the screen...also this cloth isnt one of those smooth cloths you clean eyeglasses with...its thicker and is not ultra smooth..is that fine?all answers are appreciated..thanks D

Please not I was doing this on a LED back lit LCD TV screen If you are going to do anything I suggest below, do so with caution and take your time.There was a lot of wax on the screen itself about the contents of 4 tea candles , so my first task was to get the bulk off first.To do this I got a Cold Pack gel based so no excess water , and placed it on the larger, thicker wax for not longer than a minute too long and condensation might form inside the unit . Remove the pack and then with just my fingernail, just try a lift off large sections the cold seem to make it loose some for the grip it has with the screen and help it come off in large pieces .Keep repeating until the large parts and done and now left with the smaller splats.To remove the smaller splats and the residual I went the opposite way.Get yourself a tea towel, a microfiber cloth, a mug and boil your kettle.
